This Privacy Policy describes how GoodDrama ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the GoodDrama mobile application and the website at gooddrama.org (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication identifiers from sign-in providers such as Google.
  • Purchase information. When you buy coins or subscribe, Google Play processes the transaction. We receive an order identifier and entitlement, but we do not store your full payment details.
  • Communications. If you contact us by email, we keep the message and any attachments so we can respond and follow up.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information. Device model, operating system version, language, time zone, mobile carrier, and a non-resettable advertising identifier where permitted.
  • Usage information. Episodes watched, watch duration, search queries, taps, and crash diagnostics. We use this to improve recommendations and reliability.
  • Approximate location. Derived from IP address, used for content licensing, language defaults, and fraud prevention. We do not collect precise GPS location.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including personalized recommendations.
  • Process purchases, restore entitlements, and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Send transactional notifications (purchase receipts, account alerts) and, with your consent, promotional updates about new releases.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with:

  • Service providers. Cloud hosting, analytics, customer support, and content delivery vendors who process data on our behalf under written contracts.
  • Payment platforms. Google Play, which manages purchases and subscriptions and operates under its own privacy policy.
  • Legal and safety. Authorities or third parties when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the safety of users.
  • Business transfers. A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.

4. Your choices

  • Account. You can update or delete your account at any time from in-app Settings → Account.
  • Notifications. Manage push notifications from your device settings and email preferences from any email we send.
  • Advertising identifiers. You can reset or limit the advertising identifier from your Android device settings.
  • Access and deletion. Email us at privacy@gooddrama.org to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.

5. Children

GoodDrama is intended for users aged 17 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use industry-standard encryption in transit, access controls, and regular audits to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure.

7. International transfers

We operate globally. Your information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect transferred data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app and on our website at least seven days before they take effect.
